In the early part of the 12th century, a girl was born Kathy Simmons to two wonderful·parents. They were the royalty of a small kingdom in the mountains south of Germany. As time went on, the world changed and young Kathy would soon become the queen of her parents' small kingdom following their death due to a bizzare illness which swept the land. A cure for which was not found until much later.

As time went on, the kingdom lost touch with its neighbors and strange rumors were said to take place within its borders. Many who went into the kingdom were never heard from again and those who returned were often never the same. It was very common for these "survivors" to have to be put down after a few days when they started attacking others around them; all the while feeling the desire for brains. Healers often assumed they had contracted a disease of the brain which would have probably killed them soon anyways. The kingdom was soon quarantined and left to its own devices, years later, explorers would once again enter the kingdom, but found it to be long since vacant. Eventually, the land was reclaimed by its neighbors and history was forgotten.

The strange illness that swept the land had an odd effect on the young queen. Instead of killing her as it had so many others, it gave her life immortal but twisted her perception of the world. She soon found that many of her kingdom's citizens had become mindless vessels with a desire only for human brains. Realizing that this could only lead to trouble and attacks from the neighboring kingdoms, she led her people out into the world to hide among it. Rumors would always persist and strange occurences of people being attacked while a woman stood off in the distance. She was soon given the name Queen of Ghouls and would pop up in history from time to time. Even to the point of being known as a frequent guest of Vlad the Impaler many years later.

The Queen of Ghouls has miraculously survived to this day and although those that know her see her as a very kind woman who seems to make the world a better place, rumors persist that every year, her garage is filled with terrible noises and strange things of which few will speak.

Some say that every year, she sends a few more of her corrupted minions out into the world to wreak havoc on unsuspecting strangers. Scaring them and reminding the world, that the Queen of Ghouls is still out there... somewhere....
